It’s Vladimir the stork, because sometimes nature chooses its own favourite spots… He has built his nest near the 27B1 railway line in Muizen — a unique sight, but unfortunately not without risks for him and for rail traffic.

That is why Infrabel, the Agency for Nature and Forests and Mobix have joined forces.

At Infrabel’s request, Mobix got to work and the team responsible for the overhead lines installed the post professionally. The move will, however, take place after the breeding season, when Vladimir heads to Africa to spend the winter⏳. Until then, he’ll stay a little longer at his favourite spot — but his new home is already waiting for him — which, incidentally, he’s already discovered and approved of 😉.
