The historical base of MOBIX is Engema, which was founded in 1935 and is located in Muizen near Mechelen. At the end of the 1980s Engema joins the CFE group.
Louis Stevens & Co joins CFE in 2008. Louis Stevens & Co was founded in 1951 and is based in Halen. After the founding of Mobix, the name of this entity was changed to MOBIX Stevens.
ETEC sa joined the CFE group in 2011. They are based in Manage, and founded in 1986.
Remacom sa, founded in 1993 and based in Lochristi joins CFE.
Coghe-Werbroeck nv, established in Hooglede, was incorporated into CFE in 1966.
CFE decides to merge these companies into 1 new entity: MOBIX is born! From then on, the MOBIX cluster consists of 5 entities: MOBIX Engema, MOBIX Stevens, MOBIX Engetec, MOBIX Remacom and MOBIX Coghe.
The entity MOBIX Coghe will merge completely into MOBIX Remacom. In this way, the first major step is taken towards 1 MOBIX.
